Watch Fox43 Morning News LIVE weekdays!
Courtney co-anchors Central Pennsylvania's only five hour morning show weekdays from 4-9 a.m. She also reports on breaking news, features and consumer stories.
Courtney came to Pennsylvania from Redding, CA, where she was an evening anchor and multimedia journalist for KRCR News Channel 7. When she wasn't aggressively investigating political and consumer stories, she spent many days trekking through the Northern California mountains, covering wildfires and the underground marijuana industry. Courtney's career in journalism began at the age of 19, when she accepted a job as a host and public affairs reporter for seven radio stations in Washington, DC. Two of the first stories she ever covered included the DC area sniper attacks and the Maryland Gubernatorial election. From that position, Courtney eventually moved on to work with Comcast SportsNet and a public relations firm in Orlando, FL. A proud graduate of the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism, Courtney spent most of her college experience interning at several of the local television stations in Washington, DC and covering Maryland state politics in Annapolis as a multimedia journalist for Capital News Service. When she's not behind the desk or chasing the next storiy, you can probably find Courtney hitting the yoga mat, going for a run or swimming a few laps. Though, in all honestly, many times sleep is much more appealing. After all, a 12:30 a.m. wake up call is never easy! |
